Everton Lewis (Partner at Impact Signal) speaks about the business value of design. Designers excel in a multitude of abilities. However, they often struggle to put design value into a business perspective. It is important to be able to tell the story of how businesses can benefit from design and even more important to do it in the boardroom.
Everton has a deep background in design, including four years as a VP of Service Design, five years as owner of a service design consultancy, and a university lecturer on Human Centered Design.
He worked with the executive teams at companies including Moderna, Early Warning (Zelle P2P Payment Network), Bristol Myers Squibb, TELUS, RBC, and CIBC to launch new services.
Over the past 15 years, his project teams won several awards, including the Service Design Networks Global Award and Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards.
